There are numerous web sites to search for information about pediatric eye problems, strabismus (misaligned eyes), and hereditary eye diseases. Here are a few good starting places.

There are many resources for parents of visually impaired children, including support groups for disorders such as albinism, achromatopsia, aniridia, Duane syndrome, congenital cataracts, retinopathy of prematurity, microphthalmia, retinitis pigmentosa, Sturge-Weber syndrome, and retinoblastomas.
